Chalet Plauderei

House Rules

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests and to keep the chalet in the best possible condition, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear (vacation) guests,

We warmly welcome you to our Chalet PLAUDEREI in Niedernsill. Our chalet is meant to be a home away from home during your stay. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings and hope that you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help ensure a harmonious stay. We have also listed some rules which we hope you will understand. By treating the chalet with care, you help us to continue offering high-quality accommodation to you and other guests in the future.

General Information

Should you find anything missing in the furnishings or if you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or WhatsApp at +49 163 7844813. All items located in the chalet or on the balcony and terraces are available for guests to use. You will notice that some areas/cupboards are locked – these are additional storage spaces reserved for the owner. Please handle all furnishings and inventory with care and treat the rental property with respect. Please also ensure that your fellow travelers comply with the rental conditions.

Kitchen

Please handle the high-quality kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Since no one appreciates a dirty kitchen, please only put dishes, pots, and cutlery back in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots or other hot items directly on the tables or countertops without a trivet or protective pad. Always use a cutting board when cutting. Please make sure to leave the interior of the oven, steam cooker, and microwave in a clean condition.

Bathrooms

To reduce humidity and prevent mold, we kindly ask you to use the ventilation systems when using the bathrooms (open the windows and use the fans, which are activated via the lighting switch; in the steam room there is a separate switch).

Sauna and Steam Room

The use of the sauna and steam room is at your own risk. Please be responsible with your health. Stop using them immediately if you feel unwell.

BBQ Hut / Gas Grill and Outdoor Hot Tub

When using the BBQ hut/gas grill and the hot tub, we kindly ask you to observe the following:

BBQ Hut / Gas Grill: After use, please leave all items and the grill in a clean condition. Please note that adding too much wood (BBQ hut) can cause excessive sparking and damage to the furnishings. Only use wood as fuel in the hut, which we generally provide. Please report any damage or burns to the furnishings so that we can arrange for compensation. Parents are liable for their children when using these facilities.

Hot Tub: Use of the hot tub is at your own risk and excludes any liability. The hot tub has a built-in Bluetooth speaker system; the access code on your phone is 5555.

Important: In winter, it is unavoidable that the hot tub cover will need to be cleared of snow – please use only the brooms provided for this purpose, not the snow shovel.

Our hot tub operates year-round at a temperature between 35 and 38°C (usually 37°C). At this temperature range, the water is very susceptible to bacteria and therefore requires intensive maintenance. If children use the hot tub, it is recommended to lower the water temperature to 30°C. Heat, sunlight, and rain can significantly affect the water quality – another reason to keep the cover closed when the hot tub is not in use. The hot tub runs continuously and regulates the desired temperature through its built-in heating system. We also ensure water quality through a built-in dosing system for pH and chlorine levels. Adding your own water additives, for example for cleaning or adding fragrances, is not permitted.

However, water quality also depends significantly on proper use by guests. Please only enter the hot tub after showering. Wear pool shoes up to the hot tub and make sure not to bring any contaminants such as grass or dirt into the water. If you consume drinks in the hot tub, make sure none of them get into the treated water.

Please only uncover the hot tub during use and keep it closed at all other times to protect it from heat loss and dirt. Should water loss occur due to splashing – typically during intensive use by the maximum permitted number of people – you can refill it with cold water using the water connection on the terrace via a hose.

Prolonged or intensive use can also cause discomfort and physical problems. The same applies to pregnant women, overweight individuals, people with heart conditions, low or high blood pressure, circulatory problems, and diabetes. Please use the hot tub in moderation and stop immediately if you feel unwell.

If children use the hot tub – please never without supervision! – protect your children from drowning. After using the hot tub, do not let your children dry off in the sun with chlorinated water on their skin; shower them off to protect sensitive skin. Please only bring toddlers into the water wearing swim diapers.

Damages

Nobody intentionally damages things, but it can happen to anyone that something breaks. We would appreciate it if you would inform us of any damage that has occurred, rather than us discovering it during the final cleaning after your departure. The tenant is liable for damages up to the cost of replacement.

Ventilation

To prevent mold, we kindly ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently – at least once a day by opening the windows fully for 5–10 minutes, and especially after showering.

Duty of Care

We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers and family members also comply with these rental conditions. The front door should always be kept closed and locked with the key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the chalet to prevent possible damage from storms or break-ins. Please use water, heat, and electricity responsibly.

Waste / Disposal

Please contribute to reducing residual waste by separating your rubbish. Waste is separated into general waste (black bin) and plastic packaging (yellow bag). Appropriate containers are available on the property; the bin storage area is located in front of the entrance. Please collect paper, cardboard, and bottles in the storage room in the carport area and dispose of them at the recycling center before the end of your stay. The recycling center is located in the village right next to the train station and is freely accessible daily (including weekends). Please only use bin bags in the waste bins and cosmetic bins in the bathroom and dispose of them tied closed in the general waste bin. No waste, food scraps, harmful liquids, or similar items may be thrown or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins, or showers! Please avoid anything that could cause blockages in the pipes (no hygiene products in the toilet).

Cleaning

Should an accident occur (excessive dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask you to clean it up immediately. We kindly ask you to leave the chalet broom-clean upon departure and to put all used dishes back in the cupboards clean. Provided and used appliances such as the grill, wok, raclette, etc. must be left in a clean condition.

Quiet Hours

In the interest of good neighborly relations, we kindly ask you to observe the local quiet hours, including midday, night-time, and Sunday quiet periods. This applies in particular to the use of our outdoor facilities such as the BBQ hut and hot tub. Out of consideration for the neighbors, please also keep noise to a minimum inside the chalet between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Internet / Wi-Fi

The chalet is equipped with a wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi). The Wi-Fi network is displayed under the name Plauderei. The Wi-Fi password is "plauderei". The use of the internet with your own WI-Fi-enabled device (laptop, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge for the tenant. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's use of the internet. Please do not share the access code with unauthorized third parties.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the chalet. Please go outside to smoke. You will find ashtrays on the terrace.

Pets

Bringing pets is only permitted with the prior agreement of the landlord.

Parking

Parking is available directly at the chalet (2 spaces in the carport, 2 spaces outside). The landlord accepts no liability for the loss or damage of vehicles parked or maneuvered on the property, or their contents.

House Rules Authority

In the event of immediately necessary repairs, it may be essential for the landlord to enter the chalet without the guest's prior knowledge. We will of course attempt to contact you personally beforehand.

Keys

Please never let the provided keys out of your possession. Any loss of keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable up to the cost of replacement or the replacement of the entire locking system.

Liability

The landlord accepts no liability for the valuables of the guest(s).

Arrival and Departure

Arrival can be arranged flexibly in agreement with the landlord. Upon departure, all used appliances and dishes must be washed, and the chalet left broom-clean. The final cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms will be carried out by the landlord.

Other / Miscellaneous

Warm season: During periods of dry weather, our plants and trees in the outdoor area would appreciate being watered regularly. You will find watering cans and a hose on the terrace and behind the chalet – water connections are located on the terrace, in front of the sauna area, and in the carport.

Cold season: The driveway to the chalet is not cleared regularly; winter tires (and snow chains if necessary) are recommended. In the event of heavy snowfall, the driveway to the carport will be cleared by companies contracted by the landlord. In the meantime, it is the tenant's responsibility to remove any additional snow. Snow shovels are available.

Upon booking confirmation of the chalet – at the latest upon receipt of the invoice or handover – you will receive the house rules, which thereby form part of the rental agreement.

We wish you a pleasant stay, lots of fun, relaxation, and rest.

If you have any questions, we are happy to help.
