The ideally prepared cross-country trails in Piesendorf, Niedernsill, Zell am See & Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm offer plenty of variety. The Schlossloipe trail in Kaprun is particularly ideal for beginners and novices thanks to its flat route and minimal elevation gain.

Cross-country professionals can put their skills to the test on Kaprun’s glacier trail up to 2,900m above sea level – fitness and coordination are essential here in particular. The night-time trails offer even more fun and include the Tauern SPA trail in Kaprun, the Schloss Kammer trail and the Schüttdorf/Zell am See trail. So off you go!

Sledging fun for winter enthusiasts – have fun with your family and friends on the numerous toboggan runs around Salzburger Land. Experience a real winter highlight on the longest flood-lit toboggan run in the world - in Bramberg on the Wildkogel, unrivalled sledging fun awaits over a distance of 14 km. The Smaragdbahn cable car runs up to approx.

2,100m above sea level and from here, visitors can race back down into the valley. The toboggan run on the Reiterkogel, the toboggan run at the Spielberghaus in Saalbach, the 4-seater Almbahn in Leogang & others also offer pure sledging fun.
